Bios and Dos programing in Assembly

- There are some very useful subroutines within BIOS and DOS that can be used through INT
(interrupt) instruction.
- The INT instruction works like a FAR call. When it is invoked, it saves CS:IP and the flags on the
stack and goes to the subroutine associated with that interrupt.
- The INT instruction has the following format:
INT xx ;the interrupt number xx can be 00 – FFH (256 possible interrupts)

BIOS INT 10H PROGRAMMING
- INT 10H subroutines are in the ROM BIOS of the 80×86-based IBM PC.
- Much of the manipulation of screen text or graphics is done through INT 10H. There are many
functions associated with 10H depending on the value put in register AH.
- Among these functions are clearing the screen, changing the cursor position, changing the screen
color and drawing lines on the screen.

Today, i’m going to give information about Rize.

Tea harvest in Rize is one of the smallest provinces of Turkey on the Black Sea coast but also one of the most important since it’s the tea industry center with processing and packing factories.

The city is built in an area where the bright green tea bushes cover entire mountainsides. From Ziraat Park in the city you will have a panoramic view of the are and be able to capture that unique beauty.

Barcelona’s most famous architect, Antoni Gaudi was bor in 1852. The city is full of his work, including the many houes he built for rich industrialists, like the famousla pedrera casamila building and palacito güell. From 1909 until 1926 Gaudi worked only on the sagrada familia. He got up at seven oclock in the morning every day and walked to mass in Gracia. He ate lunch in his workshop and worked unt siz or seven in the evening. He often didnt eat for long periods of time. His furniture was an old bed and an uncomfortablesofa andhe had an old coat for a blanket. On the evening of 7 june 1926 a tram hit him as he tried to cross aroad. He was dirty and wearing old clothes. No one recognised him. Taxi drivers refused to take him to hospital. Eventuall, someone took him to a public hospital. When they discovered who he was they moved him to a private room. He died three days later. His church is still unfinished but modern architects are continuing the work today.

Amsterdam is a beautifull city. You must go there because……. Why must i go ? The tram is most covenient form f transport. The circle line 20 is the most popular line for tuoursits vecause it is easier to move between attractions without changing lines. The buses generall start from Centraal Station and serve areas that are farther from the city centre. Tickets can be bought on the trams and buses but the cheapest way to travel is to buy a strippenkaart a strip of fifteen tickets sold at tourist offices and newsagent’s.

Amsterdam is a city for bicycles and moe and more tourists are adopting this way of exploring the city. Remeber always to ride on the right and that trams have priority ifnly because they are a lot bigger than you! The best way tee Amsterdam is on oot. Almost everything of interest is within comfortable walking distance. But a word of warning – walking is not as safe as in other cities – watch out for the almost silent trams and stay out of the cycle lanes! And finally what could be more enjoyable a trip on a canal boat? Boat trips are more suitable for people with limited time to explore the city and for the elderly and gamilies with young children.

ACE – the CV Checklist

Appearance

is it no more than one side of a4 paper?
do you sell yourself by including all your work exprience?

Clarity

do your personal details appear at the top of the page?
are your qualifications and jobs in reverse chronological order?

Emphasis

does it show your special abilities both in and out of work?
does it give a good first impression of you?

The people who get interviews are the ones who write the best CVs!

Professional practice for Covering Letters

* say where you saw the advertisement

i’m writing in reply to your advertisement in the (..bla bla or name of newspaper).

* say what job you are interested in

i would like to apply for the position of (job title).

* emphasise what makes you the right person for the job

i have experience in (types of duties and responsibilities).

i am a (positive adjectives to describe you) person.

* say when you can attend an interview

i am available for interview (days and times).

* write a concluding sentence

i look forward to hearing from you.

Curriculum Vitae ( CV )

1. use wide margins and leave lots of white spaces. it makes your cv easier to read.
2. use a clear, easy-to-read typeface. dont use italics or a small type size. be consistent with the typefaces you use.
3. make the section headings clear and leave a clear space between sections.
4. seperate each part of your work experience and education clearly
5. dont assume the reader wll know what some abbreviations and acronyms mean. if in doubt, use the full name
6. dont exaggerate your talents but dont underestimate the either. remeber to sell yourself by using positive adjectives.
7. watch out of grammar and spelling mistakes. do a spell and grammar check on your computer when you finish your CV and ask someone else to check it for you.
